The 10 top Reasons to buy in 2010

2009 has been an interesting year (to say the least!) for global financial markets and investors.
Let's take look at 10 good reasons why you should consider buying real estate in Mexico in 2010:

1) Emerging Markets are in Fashion
Take a look at which countries the smart institutional investors are putting their money into now and you'll find that "emerging market economies" - traditionally poorer countries with great growth prospects - are the latest fashion. Brazil and South Korea are popular, but Mexico tops the list, partly due to its proximity to the United States with direct flights. The reason it's in fashion? Because the savvy investors know it has massive potential for growth as the world starts to bounce back from recession.

2) Secure and Stable Investment Environment
While the less wise might be put off by sensational headlines about drug trafficking problems along the U.S. border, the smarter ones amongst us know that the problem is isolated to certain areas and has no direct effect on tourism or vacation real estate in Mexico. Add to this a massive number of overseas property owners already in Mexico and a solid legal framework and you can see Mexico is one of the safest high growth markets in the world to invest in.

3) Growth in Mortgage Loans

The end of 2009 has seen massive money rising in mortgage-backed securities and predictions of a boom in Mexico mortgage lending. This means a huge flow of liquidity is likely to hit real estate in Mexico in 2010, bringing with it a buying flurry. Economics 101 tells us that when demand outweighs supply prices go up. Buy real estate in Mexico in 2010 and wait to watch the value rise rapidly.

4) Government Investment in Infrastructure
Despite having to tighten public spending in 2009 like all countries around the world, in Mexico massive investment is still being made in infrastructure, particularly around the tourist zones. A new international airport is planned in the Riviera Maya, a huge new sea port is in the offing on the Pacific coast and there are hundreds, if not thousands, of smaller projects underway to improve highways and transport. Improved infrastructure boosts the prices of real estate in Mexico. Buy early in 2010 while they're still low and you'll have a huge smile on your face at the end of the year.

5) Health Care
High quality, affordable health care has long been a reason why many baby-boomers buy real estate in Mexico. Medicare and some private insurance companies may start to cover Mexico health care for Americans and Canadians, or many may opt to buy it directly themselves, but whatever happens health care will remain many times cheaper in Mexico and the standards are superb. Many of the doctors have education from US and Europe. So it is high standard with low cost.

6) Sun, Sun and More Sun!

The climate in Mexico is excellent, especially on the Caribbean side where the temperature is rarely low enough to warrant changing out of your shirt and shorts. This will remain the case in 2010!

7) Dollar-Peso Exchange Rate
The dollar in 2009 rose about 30% against the peso. You'll now get around 13 Mexican pesos to your greenback and it looks set to stay that way in 2010. Do the math and you'll soon see that this means living costs in Mexico, which were already very low, are now almost a third less again.

8) Taxes
In Mexico the property taxes are way under what you pay back home. Either if you live in US, Canada or Europe. The taxes are approximate 0, 1% annually. So a 500.000 USD investment, it will cost you $500.00 USD per year in real estate taxes. That’s nothing, when you own a piece of prime real estate.

9) Annual Global Retirement Index
If you didn’t knew it, but Mexico was named the number one country to retire in, by International Living. The Global Retirement index is looking into these areas, Real estate, Entertainment, Recreation, Culture, Cost of living, Safety and stability, Health care, Climate, Special Benefits and Infrastructure. All these are very important areas when you are choosing your place and Mexico turned out as the best!

10) Mexican People and Culture
Last, but by no means least, are the fantastic natural assets of this beautiful country: its people and culture. In economic recession or in boom times, you'll always find Mexicans to be a friendly, welcoming folk. The culture is a colorful kaleidoscope of history, food and fascinating customs and you can be sure of being met with open arms.

It has never been a better time to buy real estate in Mexico than now.

Live at La Amada!!!

Why Are One Million Americans
Moving to Mexico?

For some people, Mexico brings images of corruption and bribery...

But that's the Mexico popularized by newspapers and television.

There's a real side of Mexico that you rarely see...

And it’s the reason Americans are moving south of the border in droves.

In many ways, Mexico today is like the U.S. was 50 years ago–before big government, big business, and special interests whittled away the lifestyle our parents took for granted...

Then, neighbors still trusted one another... and you could afford to raise a family on one income...

People were more family-focused... more relaxed.

They didn’t worry about random violence, mass shootings in schools and shopping malls... Life seemed safer... children could ride bicycles around town... they didn't worry about being abducted.

There was less crime... and less crime-fighting.

Unfortunately, that life is now gone in the U.S. But in Mexico, it's still much like that today. There, life is still relaxed, simple, and affordable...

You can still get quality health care without spending a fortune each month. For instance, the government-funded health care uses the same high-tech medical procedures that are available north of the border. But the cost is significantly less–only $270 per year.

That's your cost without any additional co-pay or deductible... and it includes all of your medications.

You can get car insurance from as little as $540 per year. And, you can live comfortably, even hire a housekeeper–on just $2,000 per month.

Our staff has traveled extensively throughout Mexico. Some have even moved and live there today. They've investigated the best places you can still live a good, happy life... without giving up the conveniences you're used to.
